Planning-Print Advert

For planning the print advert I can roughly draw a sketch of what I am going to include for the print advert of the health drink and how I can achieve this, but this will not be graded/marked as it is mostly just to help you to get an idea of how you can gonna set everything up. For example, where will these photos be taken and with who?, where your location will be, also you are then gonna use Photoshop at school to edit it to make it more appealing to the audience. I already have some pictures at school using the light that was provided so I have 2 at school and I will do the rest at home but try to make it based in different locations so that it is easier to find. Costume: Since it is going to be at home it is more going to be casual comfy clothes, not very smart and professional, unlike normal school uniforms. For example, it could be like a hoodie and some trainers to indicate that the person may be sporty and loves working out. Model : I will most likely use my sister as she...

Print adverts pre-production

 1) What brand of health drink are you going to use? You can use an existing drink. The brand of health drink I am going to use is Naked. 2) New slogan for the health drink (MUST be original - cannot be existing slogan):  "Drink good do good". 3) Main character(s) that will appear in your adverts:  My sister 4) Main image 1: What will your first advert look like?  The first advert would show a close-up of a fridge. The drink just appears there, and the glistening light on it reflects that the drink is inside the fridge. 5) Main image 2: What will your second advert look like?  The second advert would tell my sister about the drink, which she would then receive. She would be curious to see what this health drink is all about. 6) Main image 3: What will your third advert look like? Remember, they all need to be different images but part of the same campaign for the same health drink. The third advert would be her opening the lid and trying the product to review if...

Preliminary task Learner Response

WWW: Some planning posted to blog which is positive. The main issue is that the production was completed before the preliminary exercise was set which also felt more like a vlog review of the product rather than a stereotypical advert. You did capture footage in the gym that you could have edited. It would have been far better in terms of editing and practicing using Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 in preparation for your real coursework. EBI: You need to meet deadlines when it comes to Media coursework. Post your completed preliminary exercise to your blog for feedback. LR: Complete the missing work as outlined above. Then, write what you are planning to make for your real coursework next. Will you choose to make the 2 video adverts or 3 print adverts? This is a very important decision so explain the reason for what you have chosen. For my real coursework next, I am planning to do a print advert as I find that easy instead of making a video and then edit it on the software as I am not q...

Paper 1 learner response

  1) Type up your feedback in full (you do not need to write mark/grade if you do not wish to). WWW:Noor, able to identify advertising conventions  for the unseen media product and analtyse hw it communicates meaning denotation and connotation. EBI- At times you are not providing specific examples or responding to the questions. 18/42 grade 5  2) Look at the  mark scheme for this assessment . For Question 2 (12 mark unseen) use the indicative content in the mark scheme to identify  three  points that you could have referred to in your answer. Typography • Upper case and bold – connotations of the important, powerful message of the image and copy. • The white text against a black background and the darkness of the image makes the writing stand out and anchor the message of the text about training being important. Non-verbal codes • Athletic body connotes that the subject is in condition and well prepared for the ‘battle’. • No direct address but the subject’...
