Part 1:Skittles advert analysis 1. What key conventions of print adverts can you find and what are the connotations or deeper meanings of each convention?  For each convention, write about how it communicates meaning to the audience. See the Maltesers advert above for an example of how to do this. The image of the Skittles shows us a rainbow that is made out of Skittles which connotates colourful,fun, and joy where it could be to create an engaging eye-catching advert for the audience to see. The logo is in the center and is written in bold white text, that has connotations to make our audience feel more interested in buying the product, suggesting that Skittles is different from others and is carrying out a different message.
