The target audience for KISS FM is 15-34, 60/40 Female to Male and the psychographic groups that would fit the KISS audience too is Females and Males from 15-34 but mostly teenagers, diverse races as it is suitable for everyone.

KISS uses digital media and technology to reach its audience by using social media such as Instagram which was popular as the audiences had engaged  with them, especially for the demographics that they want to aim at.

The content that KISS Fresh and KISSTORY offer is KISSFRESH. It plays the biggest urban and rhythmic in Hip Hop, Dance ,House and Afro beats. KISSTORY offers very best Old School and Anthems from RNB, Dance ,Garage and Hip Hop. You can even expect tracks from Beyonce.

The different ways audiences can actively engage with the KISS radio brand is
  • KISS KUBE App by downloading it you can get access to all music, shows.
  • Live Events going there to watch it in real life this attracts a variety of audiences.
  • Going on the website online without having to download the app.
  • Radio if you are in the car and rather watch it like that instead of doing it by stream.
6) Are listeners to the KISS Breakfast show active or passive? You can argue this point either way - explain your opinion in your answer.
The listeners to the KISS Breakfast show is that they are active listeners as they frequently want to see all the updates of any music, shows and they can engage by radio stations, competitions.

The audience Pleasures that are offered by the KISS FM Breakfast show is having Celebrities, well known people to interview them and find out any information that could be useful and talks about their personal lives which entertains the audience such as young teenagers. They entertain the audience by their humour ,joke, unserious and talk about things that can also imply to adults to attract teenagers.


8) How have audiences changed in terms of how they listen to music and radio since the 1960s?
Audiences have changed as in terms of music how they listen is that now you have online platforms ,internet ,social media and all the advanced technology, apps so it makes listening to music ,radio more easy to access rather than having to get an actual radio where in the 1960s is considered as normal as it was not too advanced as it is now as there are more than 1 person singing, talking and it is enjoyable for everyone to watch all over the world.

The KISS FM Breakfast shows contrast with Tony Blackburn's 1967 Radio 1 Breakfast show and the launch of BBC Radio 1 is by that they are both a type of radio.

Preferred reading-Fans love the show because it is entertaining ,humorous ,funny and unique which then attracts younger audiences to enjoy it and have access to it.

KISS FM launch was in 1985 and the type of station it was then was as a pirate radio station.

There are 175 different type of medias and that is significantly quite a lot. The brands that I recognise is the radios from 20s, 80s,Classic Bike, Central FM.

3) How does KISS FM make money? 
KISS FM makes money by ads ,promoting businesses and services around the area, also it depends on how many listeners they get that listen.
4) How many listeners does the KISS Breakfast show have and how has this changed in recent years?
There are over 1.474 listeners and this has changed in recent years as there are 
 listeners  compared to 1.788m a year earlier.

5) How is KISS FM regulated and what can happen if they break the rules?
KISS FM is regulated by Ofcom and if they break the rules they can fine KISS £175,000 and had got many complaints.
