There is a serif text font found on the cover of Tatler which connotes elegance, glamour, fashion, and tradition. This links to posh, rich, fashion. The sans serif font for the cover lines which connotes a sense of tradition, elegance, and importance suggests that loyal readers who know and understand the references being made (in the same class)

The cover lines appeal to the Tatler target audience by expectations of women as being expected to look fashionable, to travel, and to go to the right kind of parties/events and that they have to act a type of way that is feminine and be into makeup, and fashion.

Lightning is shining, beauty, and style are emphasized with high-key lighting. Facial expression: eye contact directly at the reader: contacts. Pose: elegant, confident. Makeup: glamour, beauty, glowing. Props: The jewels that she wears reinforce luxury, fashion, and status.

The famous person that is mentioned is Boris Johnson and his brother. Tatler put them on the cover because most Tatler readers support it. The informal ‘Boris’ and ‘Max’ which makes it feel
like the readers are on the first name terms with the Prime Minister and his family.

2. What do the cover lines suggest about the lifestyle of rich people in the UK?
The cover lines suggest that the lifestyle of rich people in the UK is that they show that they live in a posh life and that they always are there to be able to review and buy expensive products.

The image and cover lines represent how different groups can have different opinions of what they believe and that they use Tatler to try and experience how it is to live a Royal life.

4. Are there any stereotypes being reinforced or subverted? How? Why?
Stereotypes are being reinforced by using the Royal Family showing that they are wealthy, higher class, and respected in the cover lines. This is because despite the gossip, accusations it shows that they are perfect/

The types of people who are not featured in Tatler are working class and lower class.

This suggests that the magazine's representation of life in Britain is that they are giving advice to rich people.

The audience groups who might be offended are the lower class people when they see the front cover of  Tatler. This is because they feel as if they have to be higher class, and luxurious and that they do not fit in well as they are the opposite and aren't like successful like them. They would observe that Tatler is only aimed at rich people.

Tatler uses those who are in the upper class and those who are looking forward to fashion. The issue is also that they expect women to be in their 40s and look like models and perfect for them to be able to look beautiful and stand out in their costumes.
